Aloha, I auditioned again for Hawaii Five-0, I laughed as I read through the scene for the first time, the character was dressed in a black leather cat suit attending a comic con convention. Yet the character had a great range of emotions to cover, which excited me as an actor and comic con is no stranger thanks to my experience with Lost, abc. I feel like a base ball player with each audition for Five-0, I go in and hit harder and stronger and this time I knocked it out of the ballpark. I look forward to discovering the right role for me with this show. I also began my newest body of artwork, Surf. (Joel Parkinson portrait, current Triple Crown Champ below) Many surfers are as excited as I am for this new project so I shall be off to the north shore for more photo shoots with amazing surfers and enjoying the power of the ocean.
