Artist Biography (click here)
The art in which I create reflects my Native American heritage, living in the Hawaiian Culture, strong bond with nature, passion for conservation, love of people, and thirst for adventure. I painted and drew my way through high school. While showing my artwork around the nation an opportunity arose for me to work in the medium of film when I was cast on the series “Lost”. I then studied at the Academy of Film and Television/Scott Rogers Studio and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Hawaii. Creating in several mediums of art gave me the freedom to discover my spirituality and encouraged me to fully divulge my repressed thoughts and emotions. I find myself recharged and enriched each time I return to my foundation of painting. I share my gifts as an artist by participating in community outreaches, volunteering for several non-profits, designing an art program, and mentor young artists and actors. By bringing art to one’s community you deliver a safe haven for others, bring people together, and bridge cultural diversities. My love for fellow artists led me to produce documentaries that showcase artists, musicians, and athletes. It is my goal to create extraordinary work of the highest caliber that enlightens, encourages, and inspires. Born August 8, 1989 and from Hawaii.
